The Model on the right is one of our favourite ERDs.
It is a Canonical Data Model which means that all unnecessary
components have been removed with the objective of providing the
biggest 'bang for the buck'.
In other words, it meets the requirements of a significant area of
functionality.
In this case, it is an Event-Oriented Model that applies to a wide
range of Customer-Services situations.
