Subject: Database for Emergency Service Volunteers
Hi there
I am a first time visitor to your site, databaseanswers so I'm not entirely sure what service it offers as
I've not looked through fully.
Maybe if I can explain my situation and tell you what I'm looking for you could tell me whether or not you can help
I am a member of a volunteer emergency response organisation and at the moment we are trying to streamline the management
of our team and its members.
To do this I would like to implement an Access database but do not have the skills to create one from scratch and I've had no
luck at all with finding a suitable template.
We need to keep track of certain details in relation to our members and they include but or not limited to:
 •member name
 •member rank
 •contact details and address
 •ID No
•training level and date of training / currency
•members need to be to access the database and update certain things such as availibility for duty or events and to report any
  issues with equipment
•flag up when members are due to refresh their competencies
•search which members are listed as trainers or are trained in certain skills
 •link to org chart
•find when members last attended a trainig evening and activation or community event
 •bulk email members
 •links to forms
I really have no idea whether or not this is a mammoth task but would greatly appreciate any help or advice you may have.
Best Regards
Paul
