Google has a similar idea, but on a global scale, which they call
Public Data Explorer.
Data has been supplied by a number of organisations, including the OECD, Eurostat, the US Center for Disease Control and the US Bureau of Economic Analysis.
It is primarily aimed at students, journalists and researchers, and provides "Data visualisations for a changing world".
You can use it to find statistics on minimum wages, mortality rates, and the cost of living from countries all over the world. and compare them against each other graphically.
